Since 1994, the Leadbitter Glass Studio have supplied etched glass to hundreds of homes around Brighton. Etched glass can also be known as sandblasted glass and it is one of the oldest forms of decorative glass on the market today. Our vast Etched Glass Gallery has hundreds of beautiful designs to choose from but you can also supply your own pattern if you require something with that personal touch. Etched glass is a very popular choice for house numbers or house names above doors and we have a dedicated gallery showing some popular choices. One of the most popular etched glass requests we receive is for our Shadows Of Nature etched glass range. The image of the tree above is an example from this range (Autumn Tree) and we have created dozens of panels from this range for customers in the Brighton area.

We also supply Overlay Stained Glass to Brighton and these panels can also be supplied in single or double glazed format.

Traditional or Modern?

The majority of the etched glass we create is based on traditional designs so the glass is ‘in keeping’ with the style of the home but we also create many jobs with modern contemporary patterns.

Only a few of the jobs we create end up on the Client Page section of the website but we do like to add client jobs to that section if they are a little bit different to our standard gallery designs. Victorian Etched Glass Door & House Name

Way back in 2013 our studio created a pair of etched glass panels for a Malton style door along with a matching transom panel. The client wanted the house name in the transom panel along with a small amount of detail. We selected a small portion of the design used for the lower door glass and created a drawing.
