Bromsgrove Decorative Glass

Leadbitter Glass manufactures and delivers many different forms of decorative glass around the Bromsgrove area. We manufacture and deliver Etched Glass, Bevelled Glass, Overlay Stained Glass and Fused Glass panels. We specialise in manufacturing and delivering bespoke glass to residential customers but we have also supplied glass for use in blockbuster movies and some of the worlds largest corporations.

1. Etched Glass to Bromsgrove

Of the different types of decorative glass we supply, Etched Glass (sandblasted glass) is one of the two most popular glass types we supply to Bromsgrove clients. We also manufacture custom made designs based on the customers own requirements. All glass can be purchased in single or double glazed toughened glass. Every customer that places an order with our studio gets supplied a scale proof of their chosen design before the actual work on the glass begins.

2. Overlay Stained Glass to Bromsgrove

The design above is a 1930s style pattern created for local clients back in 2004. Although this photo looks like a traditional stained glass panel, where the individual coloured sections are made with thin coloured glass, our Overlay Stained Glass technique uses thicker and more solid toughened safety glass. Over the years we have created hundreds of Overlay Stained Glass panels for homes around Bromsgrove. All orders placed with Leadbitter Glass are available in either single glazed or double glazed glass. From the thousands of glass designs in our galleries, the Rennie Mackintosh inspired galleries and the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired galleries are two of the most popular requests we receive.

In these door galleries you can actually change the colour of a door to show you how our glass may look in your specific door colour. The Main Gallery is the central part of the website and the best place to start looking for a suitable design for your windows or door. 3. Fused Glass to Bromsgrove

The photo above shows one of our popular Fused Glass leaves which are used in some of our Fused Glass patterns. Our fused glass panels are always created with an etched glass alongside background fused tiles featured as the coloured elements. We have many different fused glass tiles for you to choose from and because we make them in-house we can also make unique tiles with your preferred colours. Find any design you like and swapping colours out for your own preferred colours costs no more than a standard design.

Our most popular fused glass designs can be found in our Mackintosh Inspired Gallery and the contemporary Tree Of Life Gallery. As mentioned above, the fused glass tiles we use are all hand cut and kiln-fired in our studio. We use coloured glass from Venice and the USA in our fused glass tile designs. 18 hours is the total time it takes to create a fused glass tile but they are worth every minute once they are incorporated into one of our stunning designs. Fused Glass tiles are around 6mm thick when they are finished and these 3D glass features really do give a whole new dimension to decorative glass. As with all orders, toughened glass comes as standard and our panels are available as single glazed or double glazed units.

4. Bevelled Glass to Bromsgrove

This beautiful Bevelled Glass window above was created by the Leadbitter Glass studio for American clients in Chelsea. This pattern is from our American Bevelled Glass range. The photo is a great example of how such a simple glass feature can be used to create a stunning feature window. With thousands of bevelled glass pieces and shapes available, the possibilities are endless. Single or double glazed toughened glass can be ordered and most sizes are available. As with all orders placed with Leadbitter Glass, a scale proof of your chosen design will be supplied to the customer for approval before any work starts on the actual glass.

What we do

Our decorative glass studio specialises in creating bespoke decorative glass panels for homes and businesses in Bromsgrove. We also supply our glass anywhere in the UK and we sometimes receive orders from around the world. Most of the orders we receive are from homeowners looking to replace their old or damaged glass. If you have plain or boring glass in your front door we can supply stunning new decorative glass to give your door a whole new lease of life.

Included with all our products is the provision of standard toughened safety glass. Your choices extend to single or double-glazed options, and for those seeking heightened insulation, we offer the possibility of triple-glazed glass. It’s worth mentioning, though, that selecting laminated or fire-rated glass comes with supplementary charges, beyond what is covered in the standard quotation.

Our service

When customers place an order with us, they get to preview their glass design before we make the actual glass. Our glass artists create high quality proofs to show you, the client exactly how your glass will look before manufacture. Once you get to see the drawings, you would have the opportunity to request alterations to the layout and colours. We only create the actual glass once the client has told us the design is absolutely perfect. After creating the glass, we deliver it directly to your Bromsgrove home or your chosen window or door supplier.
