Leadbitter Glass manufactures and delivers many different forms of decorative glass around the Cannock area. We manufacture and deliver Etched Glass, Bevelled Glass, Overlay Stained Glass and Fused Glass panels. We specialise in manufacturing and delivering bespoke glass to residential customers but we have also supplied glass for use in blockbuster movies and some of the worlds largest corporations.

Our studio produces four distinct types of decorative glass which are available for delivery to homes in Cannock in Staffordshire.

1. Etched Glass to Cannock

Of the many types of decorative glass we supply, Etched Glass is the most popular request we receive from the Cannock area. The panel above shows what a finished etched glass panel looks like. Usually people order the glass to have an obscure background with a clear design. All designs can be made in the opposite style – a clear background with the design etched. We have hundreds of designs in our Etched Glass Gallery and popular styles are Traditional or our Shadows Of Nature.

Other popular etched glass designs can be found in our Charles Rennie Mackintosh and our House Names and Numbers galleries. We also create bespoke etched glass so we can use your drawing or photos as inspiration. All of our glass is available single or double glazed format. As with all decorative glass orders, a scale proof is created for client approval before the actual work on the glass is started.

2. Overlay Stained Glass to Cannock

The above image is a great example of an Overlay Stained Glass panel. This type of decorative glass is also one of the most popular requests we receive from the Staffordshire area. Single glazed and double glazed options are available for all orders. Toughened safety glass is also supplied as standard for all orders. Popular styles requested by clients are patterns from our Charles Rennie Mackintosh gallery and the Frank Lloyd Wright gallery.

There are many other patterns to choose from as our website contains over 2000 designs. The Countryside Landscapes and Traditional designs are very popular. The Main Gallery is the best place to start and if you cannot find a suitable design, send us your own design. We create bespoke glass panels on a weekly basis so we can also make glass inspired by your photographs or your own drawings.

Rennie Mackintosh Door & Side Panel

In 2017 we were approached by clients in Cannock and they enquired if we could create a door with matching side panel. They loved our Margarets Rose design but needed the slim side panel to blend in with the door glass. As the design in the door had a left and a right facing design, we didn’t think it was right to just create an extra panel in the same style. We took elements of the vertical lines and created a side panel from that. The main link above will show you the clients drawing before manufacture.

3. Fused Glass to Cannock

The photo above shows a close-up of one of our Fused Glass leaves. These leaves are used in one of our popular fused glass patterns. Our fused glass designs are created by etching the background of the glass in a pattern. We then add stunning fused glass tiles to the panel to finish the design. We create all of these hand-made fused glass tiles in our UK studio.

Popular galleries include our Mackintosh Gallery and our Tree Of Life Gallery. As mentioned, our fused glass tiles are all hand cut and then they are placed in our kiln. 18 hours later they are fused and ready to go! Fused Glass tiles are some of the most beautiful glass features we make. As with any order placed with our studio, all glass is toughened and can be supplied single or double glazed.

4. Bevelled Glass to Cannock

The image above is a close-up of a Bevelled Glass window we created for a customer in Chelsea. This design is part of our popular American Bevelled Glass range. this photo is a stunning example of the beauty of bevels. There are thousands of bevelled pieces to choose from so the design limits are endless. Again, single or double glazed is available and as standard we always produce a proof for approval before manufacture.

All orders are made with toughened safety glass as standard. You can choose single or double-glazed options or even triple glazed glass if required. We can provide laminated or Fire rated glass but these types of glass carry extra charges on top of a standard quotation.

Our service

Upon placing an order with us, you receive advantage of previewing your selected glass design before manufacture begins. Our team of skilled glass artists produces high-quality proofs for every job we undertake. Once presented with our drawings, you can suggest alterations to the layout and colour palette. We only proceed with the actual glass production after receiving confirmation that the design is perfect. Following the completion of the glass, we promptly dispatch it to either your address or your chosen window or door supplier.
