Since 1994, the Leadbitter Glass Studio have supplied etched glass to hundreds of homes around Blackpool. The largest contract we have ever completed was for 150 traditional etched glass door panels that were to be installed around the sea front area of Blackpool. These panels were ordered by Blackpool Council for a refurbishment project. Today we mainly deal direct with the public instead of using a trade supplier.

Etched glass can also be known as sandblasted glass and it is one of the oldest forms of decorative glass on the market today. Our vast Etched Glass Gallery has around 1000 beautiful designs to choose from but you can also supply your own pattern if you want that personal feel to your glass. Etched glass is a very popular choice for house numbers or house names for glass panels above doors. We have a dedicated gallery showing some popular choices for house names and numbers. One of the most popular etched glass requests we receive is for our Shadows Of Nature etched glass range. The image of the ‘Autumn Tree’ above is an example from this range and we have created dozens of panels from this range for customers in the Blackpool area.

Traditional or Modern?

The majority of the etched glass panels we create are based on traditional designs so the glass is ‘in keeping’ with the style of the home but we also create many panels with modern contemporary patterns.

Only a few of the jobs we create end up featuring on the Client Page section of the website but we do like to add client jobs to that section if they are a little bit different to our standard gallery designs.
