Bevelled Glass Door & Side Panels
Hello, here is a mock up of how your new bevelled glass door and side panels could look using the same type of bevels previously [...]
Founded in 1994, the Leadbitter Glass Studio has been supplying Bevelled Glass panels to homes and businesses across Corby ever since, delivering to every other part of the UK too. Corby’s period housing was originally fitted with etched or stained glass, but Bevelled Glass has become a popular contemporary upgrade across the town, giving doors and windows a sharper, more reflective finish than the traditional styles offered.

Each panel we build is made up of small individual pieces of glass, arranged into a pattern and supplied as either single or double glazing for windows and doors. Choose from hundreds of stock designs — diamonds, squares, rectangles, teardrops, and plenty more — and the possible combinations run close to endless. Most Corby orders qualify for free delivery.

We’ve made glass for a Prime Minister’s home, Hollywood film sets, and the residences of well-known musicians and billionaires — though homeowners across Corby remain the bulk of who we make it for. We also produce other styles of Decorative Glass for Corby clients, including Stained Glass, Etched Glass, and Fused Glass.

Bevel patterns depend entirely on getting the measurements right, so every Corby order comes with a free Client Page. A drawing built to your exact glass dimensions lands there within a few days of ordering. Want a cluster spread wider, or the whole layout opened up? Tell us and we’ll rework it — however many times it takes before each bevel finds a place that genuinely suits it.

American Bevelled Glass is one of our most-requested styles: hundreds of small rectangular and square bevels set edge to edge across the whole panel. The style has deep roots in American glasswork, and you’ll likely recognise it from film and television. Our rectangular pencil bevels come in a wide range of widths and lengths, giving our glass artists plenty of scope to design something distinctive for your Corby home.

Every bevel is hand-fitted and UV bonded onto a single sheet of toughened safety glass. The older method relied on lead alone to hold each piece — no supporting glass base underneath at all, more a jigsaw puzzle than a properly built window.

Our modern technique fixes exactly what the old lead-only approach got wrong. A single sheet of toughened glass closes the gaps a lead-only “jigsaw” panel would otherwise leave for cold air, and we can build it as a double-glazed unit for extra insulation if you want it. Certain bevel shapes and clusters are available in bronze, blue, or green glass, and a Gluechip texture can be added to select pieces for extra character.
