American Bevelled Glass Composite Door – Northamptonshire

We created this American bevelled glass composite door & matching side panel combination recently for clients in Northamptonshire. The clients spotted a photo on our website of a door from a Florida villa that we had photographed during a recent holiday. The image is in our ‘Inspirtaions’ section of the website and the section features images of glass we did not actually create but can create for glass of almost any size. On the Inspirations page the door is titled –

‘American Style Beveled Glass Door 2’

As displayed in the close-up photo we used 2 different textures to obscure the glass and the textures selected by the client were codes 700 and 708 from our textures page. 6mm antique lead was used along with many different sized square and rectangle bevel pieces to give it that American style entryway. As always with jobs like this we first created a computer generated proof of the design for the customer to view the layout of the bevels and the leadwork. Actual samples of the textures were then sent out to the customers home so the obscure patterns could be chosen.

The double glazed sealed units were all manufactured using toughened Pilkington K energy saving glass and the composite door glass sizes were the UK industry standard of 202mm x 913mm.
