Overlay Stained Glass Dove School Logo – Kent

In 2017 a Mrs Rutter from Kent was browsing our website looking for inspiration for a ‘thank you’ gift to donate to the school where her daughter was about to leave. She came across this blue abstract design and Mrs Rutter asked us if we could create an Overlay Stained Glass Window panel with the schools Dove logo incorporated. Mrs Rutter didn’t want the same design but she did like the blues used in the original panel. We created a Client Page drawing for approval and once the drawing was approved we added an etched glass message as you can see below.

One spooky thing I noticed when adding this job to the website is that one of the random shapes created for the background actually looks like the profile of a woman’s face. If you look just behind the wing, you can see it. This was not intentional and it is coincidental that the glass was for a girls school.

The panel below has now been installed into the front entrance of the Granville Girls School in Sevenoaks Kent. Families of the 2017 school leavers clubbed together to pay for the window.
