Etched Glass Arched Door – Llandenny

Hi Kevin, below is your drawing showing the 420 design with an arched top. The grey will be etched glass with the white being clear glass. There is an issue however. We have used the visible sizes provided on your order form and this can be seen as the dashed line. As you will see the dashed line is quite equal to the outer edges of the glass. The distance is 10mm from the top of the visible arch to the edge of the glass at the top. Your earlier drawing stated that the arch would be 35mm down from the top of the glass. This contradiction makes me think that one of your measurements could be wrong. I think it may be your visible size. Please can you check the height from your bottom beading to the top of your arch again.

Another thing to note is the spacer bar can be seen at around 13mm to 14mm from the glass edge. As this bar will be visible due to the 10mm dashed line, would you like us to use a silver/grey bar or a dark bar called Black Bronze?

Hi Kevin, I have resized the visible area with 515 being the measurement from the bottom, to the top of the arch. This would then make the sides 486mm. Please check if this is correct and if your glass size is correct at 698 x 553 then the drawing will be correct. If those ‘visible sides’ are not correct, let me have that measurement and I will alter the drawing. The measurements from the top of the timber to the points of the arch – 35mm and 65mm do not apply to our drawing as these are from the wood and we have not been given those tight sizes.
