Bevelled Glass Recreation – Glasgow

A client in 2012 contacted us saying they had an old mass produced molded glass door panel which had cracked in numerous places. They asked if it was possible for us to recreate something similar using stronger glass, real bevels, lead and overlay texture. We went through our stock and found a bevelled glass cluster that would work for the centre element, the client was happy with this option so placed the order. We then produced a proof showing how the design would look in their glass sizes. After approval we produced the panel below and delivered it to Cumbernauld near Glasgow. The client’s original panel was mass produced molded glass which wasn’t toughened. Our replacement panel was 6mm toughened glass with real lead and bevels. The bottom photo is of the client’s original damaged glass.
