Leadbitter Glass manufactures and delivers multiple forms of decorative glass around East & West Sussex. We manufacture and deliver Etched Glass, Bevelled Glass, Overlay Stained Glass and Fused Glass panels. We specialise in manufacturing and delivering bespoke glass to residential customers but we have also supplied glass for use in blockbuster movies and some of the worlds largest corporations.

Our studio produces four distinct types of decorative glass which are available for delivery to homes in East & West Sussex.

1. Etched Glass to East & West Sussex

Etched glass is one of our top decorative choices, particularly popular with customers in East and West Sussex. As shown in the image above, it typically features a frosted background with a clear design, though we can also create the reverse, with a clear background and an etched pattern. Our Etched Glass Gallery offers hundreds of design options, with classic styles and our beloved Shadows of Nature collection being among the most requested.

Other popular etched glass galleries are our Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the House Names and Numbers gallery. We can also create bespoke etched glass panels based on your own photos or drawings. All glass is available single or double glazed. As with all decorative glass orders, a scale proof is created for client approval before the glass is started.

2. Overlay Stained Glass to East & West Sussex

The image above showcases a beautiful example of an Overlay Stained Glass panel, one of the most popular styles we receive requests for in East and West Sussex. Like all of our glass, we offer both single and double-glazed options, with toughened safety glass included as standard for every order. Popular designs often come from our Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Frank Lloyd Wright galleries.

There are many other patterns to choose from such as Countryside Landscapes and traditional designs from our extensive Door Galleries. The Main Gallery is the place to start and if you cannot find a suitable design, send us your own design. We create bespoke glass panels every day so we can also make glass inspired by your current glass or from a photo/drawing you have.

3. Fused Glass to East & West Sussex

The image above features one of our Fused Glass leaves, a key element in our popular fused glass designs. Our panels are created by etching the background and incorporating stunning, hand-made fused glass tiles. Crafted in our UK studio, these tiles come in a wide range of colours to suit your preferences.

Some of our most beloved fused glass collections include the Mackintosh Gallery and the Tree of Life Gallery. Each tile is hand-cut before being placed in our kiln, where it fuses over 18 hours to perfection. The result is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind glass feature. All of our glass is toughened as standard and is available in both single and double-glazed options.

4. Bevelled Glass to East & West Sussex

The window above showcases a bevelled glass design we created for clients in Chelsea. As part of our sought-after American Bevelled Glass collection, this piece exemplifies the beauty and craftsmanship of decorative bevels. With thousands of bevel options to choose from, we can design toughened glass panels with intricate, eye-catching patterns. We offer both single and double-glazed options, and like all our projects, we provide a detailed drawing for your approval before we begin production.

All of our glass panels are toughened as standard for your safety, and we offer a variety of glazing options, including single, double, and triple glazing. If needed, we can also provide laminated or fire-rated glass, though these options may incur an additional charge. Our service

When you order with us, you’ll get a chance to review a detailed preview of your glass design before production begins. Our talented glass artists will provide a proof, giving you a clear vision of what the finished piece will look like. If needed, you can request adjustments to the layout or colors to make sure everything is perfect.

We won’t start crafting the glass until you’ve approved the final design. Once it’s ready, we’ll deliver it straight to your home in East or West Sussex, or send it to your chosen window or door supplier.
