Leaded Glass Coat Of Arms – Sheffield

Hello Jonathan, here is your clients coat of arms as requested. The design would be made using mainly 4.5mm antique lead which is  our Option 2 lead. Due to the intricate nature of the text requested I thought it would be better to have the text in clear glass on an etched glass background. This allows the font to be seen really well against the etched background. This page shows how well clear text appears on an etched background.

I have added a photographic background to this image to help illustrate that the background would be clear glass. Please let the studio know your thoughts on the design.
