Rennie Mackintosh Bevelled Doors – Scotland
Hi Neil, below are the first drafts of designs requested. I have created 2 versions of the split doors and 2 versions of the larger doors. I based the original quote on the large doors being the large panel from the 2796 commission but I have also added an upgraded version to match the split door style. Further down the page are the two fanlights. The bevelled fanlight will be above one of the large door panels for the Rear Vestibule. Once the layouts are agreed, we can tweak colours and we can then create the En-Suite doors using textures for privacy. If your client likes the layouts but wants extra bevelled leaves etc, the designs can be upgraded as you wish. The bevelled glass roses come in set sizes so are not really suitable to add multiples of these on one panel because things may become too cramped. All of the white sections are clear glass.

The panel on the right was from the original quote. The new design can be upgraded further if required but we need some feedback on the proposed layout. Bevelled leaves and colours can be added but please let us know your clients thoughts on the designs.
The bevelled fanlight for the Rear Vestibule will sit above one of the large door designs. Regarding the house name fanlight, we can create an etched version with the ARDCHULLARIE text above the COTTAGE text centrally if preferred. Again, please give the studio feedback on what your client likes and what they don’t like and we will alter the layouts to suit.
Extra bevelled roses and leaves can be added to all door glass panels at extra cost if required.
