Leadbitter Glass manufactures and delivers decorative glass around Dorset. We manufacture and deliver Etched Glass, Bevelled Glass, Overlay Stained Glass and Fused Glass panels. 1. Etched Glass to Dorset

Etched glass is one of our most popular decorative glass options, especially among customers in Dorset. As shown in the image above, etched glass features a frosted background with a clear design—but we can also create the reverse, with a clear background and an etched pattern. We offer hundreds of design options in our Etched Glass Gallery, with traditional styles and our popular Shadows of Nature collection being customer favorites.

Additionally, we can design bespoke etched glass panels based on your own photos or drawings. We offer both single and double-glazed options for all glass. As with all our decorative glass orders, we provide a scale proof for client approval before production begins.

2. Overlay Stained Glass to Dorset

The image above showcases an excellent example of an Overlay Stained Glass panel, which is one of the most requested designs in the Dorset area. As with all our glass, we offer both single and double-glazed options, and toughened safety glass is included as standard with every order. Popular styles often come from our Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Frank Lloyd Wright galleries.

In addition, we offer a wide range of other designs, including countryside landscapes and traditional patterns from our extensive Door Galleries. 3. Fused Glass to Dorset

The photo above shows one of our Fused Glass leaves that is used in our popular fused glass patterns. Our fused glass panels are created by etching the background with the addition of stunning fused glass tiles. We create these hand-made fused glass tiles in our UK studio and many colours can be requested.

Popular fused glass galleries include our Mackintosh Gallery and our Tree Of Life Gallery. Our fused glass tiles are all hand cut and then they are placed in our kiln. 18 hours later they are fused and ready to be used to make our stunning glass panels. Fused Glass tiles are some of the most beautiful glass features we make. As standard, all glass is toughened and can be supplied single or double glazed.

4. Bevelled Glass to Dorset

The window pictured above features a bevelled glass design we created for clients in Chelsea. Part of our highly sought-after American Bevelled Glass range, this piece showcases the sophistication and skill involved in crafting decorative bevels. With thousands of bevel options to choose from, we can design toughened glass panels with stunning, intricate patterns. We offer both single and double-glazed options, and as with all our projects, we provide a detailed drawing for your approval before we begin production.

Our service

When you order with us, you’ll be able to review your glass design before production starts. Our talented artists will provide you with detailed proofs, so you can see exactly how the final piece will appear. If needed, you can request adjustments to the layout or colors to make sure it’s perfect.

We’ll only begin crafting your glass once you’ve given your approval on the design. After completion, we’ll deliver it straight to your home in Dorset or to your selected window or door supplier.
