Visiting Our Studio

NOTE: Unfortunately we can only welcome visitors on a strict ‘by appointment only’ basis. Due to the nature of our work we cannot ‘down tools’ to accommodate visitors unannounced so please ensure that you contact us first to arrange a suitable date and time. We cannot allow children to visit the studio for health and safety reasons.

What you can see at our studio
At the end of 2011 Leadbitter Glass purchased new premises and we can now accept adult visitors to our dedicated glass studio to see samples and discuss orders. Our website has over 1500 patterns to choose from but our studio has just 20 finished overlay stained glass windows, bevelled glass, fused glass and etched glass panels to show the different types of glass we create. A visit to our studio is a good way to see what the finished products look like but it is unlikely that you will find the exact pattern you are looking for in our finished sample range.

Our new modern premises were originally built by the famous float glass manufacturer Pilkingtons and the spacious layout gives us more of an opportunity to take on larger contracts and allow clients to visit our studio.

Why not ‘make a day of it’ and visit some of the local tourist attractions that are within a few minutes drive from our studio:

Explore over 900 years of living history. This beautiful castle was originally built on the instruction of William The Conqueror. Once a royal residence and the star of many Hollywood movies, the castle has been owned by the same family for over 450 years.
